“Something familiar, something peculiar, something for everyone—a comedy tonight!”  What makes you laugh?  Are you a fan of Napoleon Dynamite, or SNL?  Will Farrell or Ray Romano?  This class will look into the roots of great comedy and find out what really makes us laugh.  We’ll watch the work of comic giants such as Abbott and Costello, the Marx Brothers, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Bob Hope, Sid Caesar, Jack Benny and more and attempt to recreate some of it ourselves.  Get ready to improv, play with characters, make a fool of yourself, and above all, laugh!
