Video Students Have Record-Breaking Year

Video Students Have Record-Breaking Year

For seven years now, WA students have been submitting videos into contests with the hopes of recognition and award. For many, these contests have not only been encouraging, but also life-directing. Mike Egler, our first award winner, is currently in Vancouver working in the animation industry.

Wheaton Academy students have been submitting videos into the American Lung Association’s Radon video contest since 2013. This year, 141 videos were submitted to this statewide contest. From those, ten were chosen to receive prize money. Out of those ten, FOUR videos came from WA students. This is record-breaking for us and we are extremely proud of our students.

There is one final aspect to this contest: popular vote. The video with the most YouTube views will win an additional $250 dollars. You will find the links to our videos below. Give them views and share this out to your friends and family. Each one of these videos has already been guaranteed $250 in prize money. Congratulate these students when you see them!
