A Vision of Transformation
As we move into the next century, we have set our goal on the transformation of every student that is entrusted to us. Implementation of this comprehensive plan calls for support for educators, facility improvements, and an investment in our students. Is this an impossible goal? In human terms, absolutely. But we feel called, with God’s help and through the power of the Spirit, to do the impossible; transform every student.


A Bold Ministry Advancement
Wheaton Academy has been blessed with seventeen consecutive years of student enrollment growth. This fall our student body has grown to over 630 students, the largest student population in our 154-year history. To keep pace, we must address the subsequent needs. We have a 60-year-old gym that was built for a student body of 175. We have adequate classroom space for only 500 students, requiring classes to be held in mobiles, offices and common space. We also desperately need to take better care of our “Living Curriculum Teachers” and the physical campus with which God has blessed us.. This campaign will help meet these needs while continuing to provide scholarships for needy students. It will insure that the ministry of Wheaton Academy will grow and be strengthened for the decades ahead.

What is Needed

New Field House - $8,600,000
This state-of-the-art athletic facility will allow our teams the practice time and space they need to further the growth and competitiveness of all our sports teams. Whether on an athletic team or in a physical education class, every Wheaton Academy student’s educational experience will be enhanced by this new facility.

Endowment for Excellence in Education - $1,600,000
We are blessed with Living Curriculum Teachers who seek to carry out our mission of nurturing growth in our students through relationships, excellence and service to the glory of God. Growing an endowment that will allow us to provide money for teacher development and to reward excellence will insure that we will be able to retain our excellent faculty.

Academy Scholarship Fund (3 years) - $1,800,000
We want to continue to provide need-based scholarship money to our students who otherwise would not be able to attend. Our student body benefits from a diversity of backgrounds and our mission is not limited to those who do not need financial assistance.

Infrastructure (Parking, equipment, contingencies and costs) - $800,000

Total: $12,800,000
