Academy Student Scholarship Fund
THE NEED
Each year Wheaton Academy raises money for scholarships for deserving students. Last year over 40% of our students were able to receive a Wheaton Academy education who otherwise would not have been able to for financial reasons.
These scholarships not only pave the way for many students to attend Wheaton Academy, but they also help to create diversity on campus that benefits all students. One of our recent graduates beautifully summed up what Wheaton Academy has meant to her:

“Wheaton Academy is a place where its cool if you don’t drink and stupid if you do. It’s a place where you can tell your English teacher about your boyfriend or the fight you got in with your mom. It’s where you honor God through dance, baseball, singing, math or running the soundboard for chapel. It’s where you can’t just hide in the back of the room. It’s where you can’t have an unnoticed bad day. It’s where parents take comfort in knowing you’re at school, and you’re safe. It’s where who you are, what you think, what you believe, what you want, what you fear and what you want to do, matters. It’s where Jesus is overwhelmingly present, reaching out to you through others. That’s what Wheaton Academy means to me.”

THE SOLUTION
As part of the Campaign for Wheaton Academy, we want to commit to raise these same dollars each year so that these and other students can continue to receive a Christian high school education. Throughout the campaign, we want to make sure that those students and families who want the type of nurturing atmosphere described by Elizabeth can still get it. We are committed to our deserving scholarship students as we also build facilities and support our "Living Curriculum Educators" in phase one of this campaign.
